About Me

Kettle On Counselling

In my career, I have worked with the elderly, young people, families and people with range of disabilities. I have supported my clients through trauma, grief and bereavement, illness, family dynamics, relationships, alcohol abuse, mental health to list a few.

I have experience with working alongside organisations such as The Princes Trust, Mind and the Salvation Army and built strong links within the community to various support projects with a focus on confidence building. I have also travelled and lived abroad providing respite and counselling to adolescent teenagers and women needing refuge.

I decided to become a counsellor having experienced a lot in my own life, as a single woman, as a mother, a wife and a grandmother. My experiences made me realise, how important it is to open up, and the have the ability to talk, freely vent frustrations and be listened too.

I follow a person-centred approached outlined by Carl Rogers. This means that you lead your own sessions whilst I support and help you unlock your inner strengths and abilities to enable you to move forwards at a pace that suits you.

We've Helped People Just Like You

"Anji has helped me navigate through my problematic late teenage years and my relationship with my parents. In my first session, she was able to help me understand why I behaved a certain way and outlined a plan for doing discipline with myself to fix my relationship with my parents. It was so simple and straight forward that I came back for many more sessions until I felt stable. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for personal counselling."
